A practical guide to reviewing manuscripts with clarity, fairness, and insight. This training explores how to assess scientific work constructively, write reviews that are useful to both editors and authors, and manage the balance between critique and encouragement. Participants reflect on what makes a review effective and gain a deeper understanding of the peer review process—skills that also improve their own writing and publishing.

Science communications

Effective science communication bridges the gap between research and society. This training helps researchers distill complex ideas into clear, engaging messages tailored to non-specialist audiences. We cover strategies for storytelling, audience analysis, and choosing the right format—be it public talks, articles, social media, or policy briefs. Participants leave with tools to communicate their work with confidence, clarity, and purpose beyond the academic sphere.
